We are dedicated to bringing the highest quality ballroom dance education to San Diego and to creating a positive learning environment. It is our hope that each of our students, no matter age or experience, has the freedom to grow in their dance abilities, meet their goals, build confidence, and have fun! We take the time to individualize each student's own dance program: from competitive to social dancers, to dancers preparing for their upcoming wedding or quinceañera, we know you'll find what you're looking for.

I believe ballroom dancing is for everyone! Whether your goal is to try something new, to have the wedding dance of your dreams, or even to push yourself to compete and perform at the highest levels, we can develop a program that fits you. I’ve been teaching since 2016, and have coached numerous dancers ranging in age from four to ninety-nine, and of all levels from newcomers to other professionals. I commit to giving each student the focus, artistic passion, and excitement that they deserve. I can’t wait to share the joy of ballroom dancing with you!
Megan Bliss
Ballroom dance is my passion and I cannot wait to share it with you! After being introduced to ballroom dancing in college, I knew it was something I wanted to make a permanent fixture in my life. Since then, I have worked to hone my own dancing and teaching skills to help provide the absolute best dance education I possibly can. I love helping my students learn something new, build confidence, and strengthen their abilities and look forward to each and every new opportunity to help a student become the dancer he or she has always dreamed they'd be.
Upcoming Events and Classes
Third Sunday of every month (unless otherwise noted). Join us for a beginning group class from 6:30 to 7:30 with DJ'ed social dancing from 7:30 to 10:00pm. Light refreshments served. PLEASE NOTE THE FEBRUARY 2024 EVENT WILL BE ON FEBRUARY 25th INSTEAD OF THE 18TH.

Sunday Bliss Social Dance Party
Ladies Latin Formation
Meeting every Saturday at 9:00am. Learn a fun latin team formation for ladies only with opportunities to perform!

Price: $15 per class or $100 for a package of 8 classes
Beginning Ballroom and Latin Group Class
Join us Mondays at 7:00pm to learn the basics of the Ballroom and Latin dances including waltz, foxtrot, cha cha, samba, and more! We rotate through new dances each month.

Price: $15/person
Intermediate Ballroom and Latin Group Class
Join us Mondays at 6:00pm to continue developing your Ballroom and Latin skills. Ideal for those who have been with us through at least one rotation of the Beginning class or for those who have been taking weekly private lessons for at least 6 months. New figures will be introduced and more time given to technique. Begins April 2024.

Kids and Teens Class
Meeting Wednesdays at 4:00pm with separate sessions for kids 12 and under and teens 13 and up. Intended as an introduction to both Ballroom and Latin and to prepare students for intermediate classes, private lessons, and performance/competitive opportunities. First month free. Beginning January 17th, 2024.

Rx Ballroom Dance Group Class
Meeting Mondays and Thursdays at 12:15pm and Saturdays at 12:00pm this class is open to any and all individuals affected by Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, dementia, or any other cerebral or neurodegenerative disease and their caretakers. With structured warm ups and new dances each month, we'll take students through a curriculum that is specifically designed to improve physical, cognitive, and emotional objectives.

Services and Pricing
All prices for private lessons are for individuals or couples. Multiple lessons can be purchased as packages. Lessons purchased as packages cannot be refunded, though they never expire. Payment is due at the beginning of your first lesson. Cash, check, or Venmo are accepted.
Private Lesson
$70/session
45-minute sessions that include both our teaching fee ($55) as well as the floor fee we owe the studio per lesson ($15).

We do offer package deals. Two sessions for $130 (must be booked back-to-back as a single 1.5 hour session) or a package of 8 for $480.
Children's Private Lessons
Price Varies
Help your child develop motor skills, balance, flexibility, confidence and social skills. Whether just for fun or to learn to dance competitively, we specialize our programs to fit each child. Available for ages 4-17. 5 years old and and under $35/30-minute session. 6 years old and up $55/45-minute session.
Wedding and Event Preparation
$70/session
Be your absolute best for your first dance, father/daughter dance, quinceañera, sweet 16, or any other event you want show off your new dance skills! All levels welcome. Feel comfortable on the dance floor and get specialized choreography for your song of choice. Whether you have a year to prepare and want to lift your partner over your head or need to feel comfortable for your event the very next day, we are happy to help!

Semi-Private Lessons
$70 and up/session
Bring a few of your friends to reduce the cost per person and have fun learning together! Rates remain $70 for semi-private lessons up to 5 people. 6 or more people and the rate is $15/person. Semi-private sessions cannot be booked online. Email or fill out our contact form to book.
Remote Classes
Offered via Google Hangouts, Skype, or FaceTime
Keep yourself dancing no matter where you are! We offer full-length, 45-minute lessons for $55.
Performance and Entertainment
